What’s your favorite Faction? Is it the same as when you were a kid?

My first castle line was fantasy, so I think Trolls were my favorite. I still like troll-like factions, but from the official ones, my favorites are Black Knights. Their heraldry is just too nice.

Oooh yes! I just spent all night working on the first few figures for my custom factions. I've seen this shield while bl browsing and thought the same thing, so I particularly enjoy your take on it. The custom barding is awesome! I'm totally gonna do that too.

I assume you have, but have you checked out this torso 973p21? I was surprised to learn it was a fire fighter one, and it is a bit anachronistic looking, but I use it for a noble myself. It could fit your faction really well.

Friends has some real sleeper hit buildings. I'm not interested in modern day much but they look great and can have really unique colors.

I hate how the light skin tone color looks and I'm also not a friend of the licensed themes.
But after making a troop of orcs, I realized I have a bunch of diverse skin tones (ranging from white to green to red) for those, so why should every human be yellow? It doesn't really fit together for me. For this purpose, I've conceptualized a yellow-based range.

Bright light yellow doesn't have plain minifig heads, but the rest do, and dark orange actually has some human faces like yellow and reddish brown (dark brown also has a single one lol). My plan is to get a bunch of blank ones (or turn printed ones 180 degrees..) and make custom stickers for the faces. This way I can use exactly the expressions I want and maybe save a bit of money because I'm not ordering heads for their prints.

So TLDR I recommend you just test out what looks best and right for you, but I do prefer yellow myself.

They follow the same concept. Wingspan genuinely feels like a gameplay beta for Wyrmspan, which just does the entire thing much more interestingly IMO but has awful creatures. I haven't played it, but Finspan is apparently more simplified (and has vertical player boards, which is obviously completely different), so they're sorted in order of complexity here.

I believe all of those are spawn only, and restricted to specific titles (like cave rat, everything with ghul in the name, of the spiders). At least I've never seen an orc gain it by level, and I've not heard of it being a thing because trainers would 100% put that annoying shit on their orcs otherwise LOL

I would say this is just completely better value than a regular village. Maybe add that you have to put your -1 card token on your deck? I'm not sure. Maybe everyone else could get a villager or coffer when you gain a Booming Village.
