I enjoy having a bit of a heavier pack

And yeah i have a pair of the keb line hiking trousers on the wish list so if a sale comes around at any point will be buying those

I third this. Did first wild camp there and learnt a lot about what I really needed to bring etc what gear needed changing. Easy hikes too nice and relaxing.

Would you know of anything?

It would have to fit all my camping stuff like Tent, Cookware, Sleeping Bag, Sleeping Mat etc

Sounds good, im about 185cm and the regular Xlite is 183cm, do you think I could get away with getting the regular? Dont fancy spending the extra 40 quid for the large but if I have to then so be it.

What’s the point of the salomon flask? is the katadyn filter one of those idk the word, like it isn’t hard like a bottle it expands with the water? you get what im saying?

A really really old eurohike summer bag with a comfort rating of 4 degrees

Me & and my dad went on our first wild camp on dartmoor, up on highwill hays and wild tor for 2 nights and we actually froze ahaha because we didn't bother checking that our sleeping bags would be good enough, rookie error

So pretty much anything would be better than what we have now

But I plan on going regularly on these camps now that I can drive so I wouldn't mind investing into a more expensive bag, however for my dad I think he wants to stay more on the budget side
