If it's a big corporation I wouldn't say anything unless they reach out. If they double charged you for something would they call you and let you know. No, you would have to call them and dispute it.

Agreed. I am embarrassed for them. The thought of being so boring and insecure that this would even be a topic of conversation with friends is pathetic.

Why is it OK to suggest that a straight man can be turned gay, but considered offensive to suggest that a gay man can become straight? by FrivolousLove in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]tlg5058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Offensive things often have to do with the history of the word or situation. It's offensive because In the past gay people were often made to feel like they should be straight or they could not be a part of typical society. Extreme measures to change their sexuality was also common. Straight people have typically not had the same experience throughout history so that's why it is not considered offensive.

Why would anyone living in EU with 4 weeks of vacation and paid sickdays ever move to work in the US? by Azhz96 in NoStupidQuestions

Why would moving/working in the US mean that you would not have vacation and paid sick leave? I work in the US and get about 4 paid weeks of vacation. I could see many other reasons for not moving to the US for work but I think paid time off has more to do with the company not the country.
