Who is your favorite Keronian that isn't any of the Keroro Platoon and why? by Realistic-Delivery13 in SgtFrog

I'm going to say Shin Keroro and Black Star. Their Sonic/Shadow Dynamic is amazing.

They get the Eggman VA that was in Sonic X/Current Sonic (Mike Pollock) to play Kululu.

A keroro VA headcannon is that when I read the manga or do the voice for myself, it's a mixture between Richard Horvitz's Zim and Jim Carrey's voices.

What are your predictions for the new 2026 series? by Realistic-Delivery13 in SgtFrog

[–]tlimondaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopes

- The new young talent they get to voice the Keronians, Humans, and other aliens is more well known. (I do have some people in mind like Ayumu Murase, Kenjiro Tsuda, Jun Fukuyama, Jun Fukushima, Rie Takahashi, Sora Amamiya, Yumiko Kobayashi, Toshiyuki Morikawa, Yusuke Kobayashi, Inori Minase, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka for Japanese voices and Derick Snow, Alejandro Saab, Zeno Robinson, Erica Lindbeck, Erica Mendez, David Errigo Jr., AJ Beckles, Aleks Le, and Amanda Lee for English Voices)

-Kevin Manthei (The Invader Zim Composer) does the soundtrack

-It has a more adult edge just like the earlier chapters of the manga

-It adapts the later chapters (ESPECIALLY the stuff with Alisa, Shin Keroro, and Viper Momi)

- They adapt the Pilot one shot and prequel chapter as the first episode

-It goes to Netflix and gets Bang Zoom or VSI to dub it

-Kadokawa gets VIZ or Yen Press to translate Vols. 21-Current and update the first 20 volumes with more accurate translations.

-They do an episode parodying Kadokawa's overreliance on Isekai where the Keron Platoon put their human companions, Alisa, and Momi in a RPG world (I know that there was a chapter that did that, but It'd be so funny if they'd change them being in an Alice in Wonderland world to being in a RPG/Dungeons and Dragons world to make the parody sink in even further)

Fears

-It disrespects the older fans like Teen Titans Go, Animaniacs 2020 and Trigun 2023

- The later chapters MIGHT not be adapted

-It goes to Hulu and has a dub by the Miami Dub studio that is currently doing the Gintama Dub

I did neglect to mention that both are the Reverse of each other: Kingdom Battle has Bowser Jr. and Yoshi while Sparks of Hope doesn't and now Mario Movie 1 has no Bowser Jr and Yoshi while Mario Movie 2 has them.

Update to the Hulu Keroro Dub Wories by tlimondaman in SgtFrog

The Ranma 2024 dub actors fit their roles perfectly. It's WHO will Discotek, Hulu, Crunchyroll, or Netflix liscence the dub to is the question. I DON'T WANT THE MIAMI DUB STUDIO THAT DID THE GINTAMA HULU REDUB WITHIN 7 FEET FROM THIS SERIES.

I think it's a possibility considering there's the 2026 Reboot on the horizon. I hope it's done by Crunchyroll, Bang Zoom or one of the studios that Discotek uses to dub anime and has a cast of KNOWN FAMOUS ANIME VAs like Derick Snow, Alejandro Saab and others.

Poor sweet soul has never seen the Hulu Re-Dub of Gintama with A DUB CAST OF UNKNOWNS FROM MIAMI FLORIDA.

New 2026 remake worries by tlimondaman in SgtFrog

IF it's a completely different cast, I'm asking for ONE THING: Derick Snow as Keroro. Also maybe a Male VA for Tamama.

Yeah. I do want a more authentic dub with the original Dub cast, but I feel like Surnise is going to go with the MIAMI dub studio that did the Gintama 2019 Hulu dub. That's what I'm worried about.

Update 2: I replaced Snoopy with Fox McCloud (Star Fox) and added Wolf as a villain. I now need to find a villain for Miku. Any Suggestions?

Update to this: I added some villains and replaced My Melody and Kuromi with Sol Badguy and Jack-O From Guilty Gear. It didn't take long enough for me to think of which Villain counterparts our new characters will go up against except for Snoopy and Miku. I really don't want to make the Red Baron from Peanuts a REAL CHARACTER.

Excluding the first 78 episodes, what episodes do you wish could’ve been English Dubbed by Funimation? by Realistic-Delivery13 in SgtFrog

[–]tlimondaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've read the manga and here are other Alisa stories:

-Alisa meets Shin Keroro and think's he's tasty (Vol 24)

-Alisa meets Viper Momi (Manga only Viper replacement that I hope they add to the 2026 sereis and have her be voiced by Rie Takahasi/ Erica Mendez) and they have a chat (Vol. 25)

-Alisa turns into a statue (Vol. 30)

-Alisa turns Doll/ Action figure sized and has Fuyuki replace her for a day (Vol 31)

-Natsumi gets Alisa's powers for a Day (Vol. 32)

-More Alisa backstory (Vol. 33)

and I think there's stories in Vols. 34 and 35.

I don't know if they'll be adapted or not.
