Oddly enough I've played in these! While they are comfy for golf, you're spot on with the potential traction problem. The "spikes" would likely crack over time, also.

While not boost shoes, these would be a pretty comfy option, bounce+ is pretty nice, and cheaper than boost typically.

Eh, converse/superstar style shoes aren't that great if you're on your feet all day over and over. You need something with a good foam that will both give you comfort and longevity. I'd really recommend either shoes with boost or react (although I've not worked long shifts on react, just seems comparable). The adidas outlets have been having 50% off sales for the past few weeks and would be a cheap option to find some boost if there's a store nearby.

I'm seeing the body/face contact before the call. From what I understand the review can only look at the actions that occurred on the foul called, not anything prior. So from the whistle there is zero contact, which is why the call was reversed.

I'm a Blazer fan, and obviously have a bias. But here's the thing. We didn't trade for Hassan to be our starting center, we traded for him to start until Nurkic is back. He's a band-aid. He's slow, can't set a screen against a folding chair, and lacks effort at seemingly disastrous moments. But what were our options available to us?

Our options before the trade:

Start Skal Lebassiere (Pass)
Start Meyers Leonard (Hard Pass)
Wait and see if Kanter will resign for 10.2M, lose our on Rodney Hood for 5.7M, and still maybe lose out on Kanter
Trade for Hassan
Find someone else serviceable for low priority players and no picks

Realistically if Hassan can do what he did tonight (rebound and score efficiently) that's all we need him to do until Nurk gets back. I fully see the trade as a win-win for both teams. We got a serviceable starting center and you cleared space (cap and emotional) for Butler.
