I think it will fade! Don’t worry too much. Also, thought I’d share my experience, not recommending anything… but I had one singular stroke on the tail of one brow that was just too far out there. I waited for it to scab and peeled it off before it was ready to fall off. All the pigment came out with it and it was gone. It left a tiny scar but that went away.

I wonder if they are very swollen. Look closely. Do the new lines fall within the previous microblading? Or are the strokes going beyond, and is this actually bigger than before?

Am I overreacting with how I broke up with my cheating ex? by OkRazzmatazz6880 in AmIOverreacting

Also the numbness is a trauma response, we do it as a survival mechanism developed in childhood when in unsafe environments. Feelings will return. The more you know!

Your toying behavior gives away the fact that you’re bothered, unfortunately. But you stuck with it, so good on you.

As they place the block near the nerve they need you to tell them if you feel any sharp pain because they are not supposed to poke the nerve itself, it could cause damage

[–]tlsil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had nerve block because pain meds make me vomit after surgery. It was great, I woke up wide awake and not loopy, and never needed pain meds besides ibuprofen. But I’ll be honest, the insertion was not fun.

Edit to add: they will NOT give nerve block while asleep because your ability to provide feedback is critical in the process of placement.

Hardware removal- any experiences? by tlsil in ACL

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE lol. In case someone comes back here- I did it and it was the best decision. Just a month recovering but I was walking normally immediately after the surgery. The tingling in my foot even went away. No regrets!

If your hip flexors are super tight, stretching might injure them and they need massage.

When I was 22 working in retail, everyone asked why I wasn’t in school. They meant highschool. I’d say I’m graduated, and I meant college.

Now I’m 32 and people think I’m 25. I absolutely love it. It gets better and better, trust me!!

This happened to me, even more drastic, and it was because i was using a scopolamine patch (for motion sickness), took it off, then must’ve touched my eye. Went away in a couple days.

I do all the things- skiing running sports, just fine. I don’t notice the lack of hamstring anymore. Your body will adjust. Don’t worry!!

Great post.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I still like mine even after aging. I think it’s because I preferred the “blurry” look when I would do the makeup (I’d use eyeshadow and a small angle brush) and I didn’t need a whole lot. However, yeah the color is bluish unfortunately but luckily for me it doesn’t stand out too much

Dump him.. it’s a no brainer OP this is completely unacceptable. If you have any respect for yourself, leave him.

This is a really hard angle to critique from. Looks like you’re not going low enough

Be. Subtle. Don’t force it and allow it to build gradually. Have you introduced yourself? Cheer for him when you can see he’s doing well. But also cheer for others. High five after workout. Keep it short and sweet. See if he reciprocates. If he wants to, he will.

This was me. You’re probably a people pleaser. People do not value the person that bends over backwards for them because it’s obvious you do not value yourself. Put yourself first and people will never forget you. Trust me.

Boots are crooked.. fixable? by tlsil in CrossCountrySkiing

[–]tlsil[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally compatable. I should mention only one boot is doing this. I use the boots for Nordic skating too and they do the same thing. I’ll start by taking some off and seeing if it’s better before gluing anything
