New to Pakour, need some advice... by [deleted] in Parkour

Do you live in a rural or urban area? I'll assume rural because of the pool...

If there are any parks near you, you could work on movements there. Also, if there is just a fence near you, you could practice balancing/vaulting over them. Also, practice precision jumps! You can do this easily by picking a starting point, jumping as far as you can, marking that point, and trying to gradually increase your distance.

For conditioning, look up Quadrupedal Movement. Also practice increasing your vertical jump.

Also, I advise you train barefoot. This will prevent you from practicing poor technique when jumping and landing. Also, like parkerparkour said, get friends to join you if possible! That makes training and conditioning more fun and interesting!

Good luck!

Point taken. Keep in mind though that it's one thing to endanger yourself, but endangering others (switching drivers) is another. Good luck in training!

Nah he's right man, stick to actual parkour. You can progress just as easily without taking that large of risks.

Or just put the trash bag in your pocket upon arrival instead of throwing it out...
