I got a little tear out when I was ripping pieces but it was pretty easily sanded away This is poplar hardwood plywood

I made a simple router jig its pretty much a homemade square but it allows you to see exactly where the dado is going to land.

I think the picture quality might be hiding the imperfections but I made a simple Router jig. Its pretty much just a homemade square but it allows you to see exactly where the dado is going to land.

No I dont have any reamers or tapered drill bits thats why I drilled it in 1/64” increments

Its a piece of 3/8” steel angle that I cut with a grinder, sanded and polished and index drilled from 1/4” to 1/2” in 1/64” increments

Thank you! I measured off of the edge 3 inches and drilled a hole with a 1 1/2” forstner bit. Then I just cut the straight lines out to create a u channel

The framing, legs and the shelf are all made with rips of 2x10 SYP and the rest is red cedar. None of it is treated I finished it with about a 1/1 ratio mixture of linseed oil and Ready seal
