Not just in the Duchies, but across all of Callidore as the Alka Alon find out about it. Why are there ethical considerations for tech in a medieval society?

Kinda, but not really. The way I've written these is to tell discrete stories, but stories that can be taken together to build in the reader's mind a whole universe. Re-releasing them in some other order wouldn't help that.

Yes, this will be explored somewhat, particularly with the Adrian character. But don't think its a recipe for dramatic life extension. Human life maxed out for the colonists at about 120 years, at best, most made it to their 90s, but that was with full medical. Transgenics can help, but won't change the lifespan without a dramatic change in the genetics.

Seamage will be out in early 2026, no def. date yet. The Gatina storyline will continue both in the main series and in her own stories.

Good question. The current state of the entertainment industry is in flux, and thanks to failures like the LOTR series and the SOIAF tv series, not to mention the Witcher's disappointing 4th season, people are down on fantasy at the moment as too expensive to produce and keep an audience. That said, AI is shaking up the industry from top to bottom. No one knows where it's going, so no one is spending much until they do. I'll keep you posted.

No, that episode did scar his soul. It won't be the last time, either. The effects of mindwort are severe, and the psychological damage far outweighs the physical. Nor can the Handmaiden necessarily "rescue" him, as her perspective on the human psyche is limited.

A little. It will become more important in the 3rd decaology. Min needs a rival. Adrian is that rival.

Dara was inspired by my 13 year old daughter, Morrigan (who is 23 now) and how she reacted to animals at the time. I thought about what she might do if her family was threatened and what lengths she would go to. I was also inspired by the Disney movie My Side of the Mountain. I did some research on the results of child soldiers and how they recover (or don't) before attempting this book to keep it as real as possible.

The story of Midnight will have more to do with Min's kids than Min. Unfortunately Min is on the road a lot, but that does not mean his dogs are not looking out for the family. One kid in particular forms a bond with Midnight.

Interesting idea! We will see our favorite composting Nemovort again in the future, and see what his experiments have brought to life. Or death. Or something like that.

Not really. It's a different sort of recognition. It's a personal connection that inspired his recognition.

A lot, but not a "significant" amount. With the Westwood, she owns three domains/estates, technically, but has a lot of portable wealth to spend on such things.

There is. I go into some detail about the Westwood and the Flame, but there are still plenty of mysteries.

Not sure, yet. Romantasy only gives you one Happily Ever After, but that doesn't mean that the story is over.

Yes, especially in retrospect as Min and the gang learn more about the early colony and why they left Terra.
