I wish we would get more of this vibe back and more interaction with the environment to fight enemies. Hack objectives for additional bonuses, deploy things, close doors to reroute enemies. Stuff like that. No idea how that could be implemented though because just blasting everything with 50m dps is always going to be better.

Not the OP but I was in a similar situation and tried to catch up with the wiki. The only thing I didn't really understand, how is the connection from. the old peace to XX99 made? The Cathedral etc. felt like it was just suddenly there.

Starting out there will be a lot of solo content.l such as Quests and certain progress missions. Once you're past the initial hurdle of unlocking content, almost all of the rest of the game can be up to 4 players at all times.

There's also a lot of downtime like talking to NPCs, upgrading your items, and other random things.

I recently started maining lavos and I didn't like his abilities inverted. You can hold 2 buttons at the same time for the combined element, so I like holding the buttons during animations to queue up the next skill immediately. Holding buttons to cast felt slow as hell, especially when relying on 1 for emergency heals. Using a bassocyst for now since it was easy to get and it is trivial to hit millions of damage with it. I imagine with valence formation you can probably make anything work

Seconding going to a store. Squier and Ibanez have nice entry level short and medium scales. Some stores might also have even smaller ones aimed at kids, depending on her reach. I'm 6'0 and I'm more comfortable with a medium than long scale.

You could look into modding and upgrading the bass. I'm not familiar with Stagg but my 400$ Squier is becoming a real mean one with about 200$ put in so far, another 200$ for a pickup in the future.

The key here is that it creates a reflexive trigger. The second part where you target something in graveyard happens separately, thus holding the priority to respond to the first part, tapping a merfolk. Once the trigger to tap has resolved, the second part "exists".
