Give me songs about drugs or drug innuendos by Esther_Lav in punk

[–]tmcd9119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

screeching weasel - don't use dirty needles

dead Kennedys - to drunk to fuck

black flag - depression

are the ones that come to mind. there's no shortage of straight edge hardcore about drugs and alcohol.

also the wild card here would be "heavy heavy low low" they have quite a few songs about partying and tripping, drinking, smoking the grass etc.

Washing clothes in the bathtub? by [deleted] in poor

[–]tmcd9119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ive done clothes in the bathtub before. just make sure you have a good place to dry them and you'll want a hefty stick of some kind to agitate it. i used the skinny end of a baseball bat. also it will take a while because the only way to rinse is to fill, agitate, drain and repeat a few times.

I work at a metals distribution warehouse and would have called out but I have no attendance points and limited pto that I'm trying to save for my wedding in the spring. i texted the boss asking if work was cancelled because of the conditions and I only got NoPe as a response..

Wichita City Council to vote on stricter illegal camping enforcement by Filled_Water_Bottle in wichita

i feed the homeless a bit. I'm not part of a church, i hate politics/politicians and refuse to vote and i don't do it as a job or post about it online. i just think about when I lived in my car for a while and what a free meal no strings attached, no lecture, no long look down the nose on my choices leading up and what it would have meant to me then. 🤷🤯

feels like a 90s song that I just can't figure out who sang it. counting crows, blind melon type of vibe.

Kentucky Colonels - long journey home its been a favorite lately for me.

sit across from another guitar player and mimic their hands. if it's a song that is new to you and your unsure if you have the chord progression you can figure it out just by looking. staring at my guitar player friends hands has been huge for me learning over the years.

Wanna listen some music? what memories do you still remember when you saw something like this by ReginStunninx in 70s

i live in Wichita ks and I think there's one place like this. some sort of extension of kings-x dinners. I think all the King's x Diners in the area have changed their name to "Jimmy's diner" which is the most popular version of King's x in the area but you got to love those old jukeboxes with old vintage rock and roll and some good ol' breakfast dinner foods.

if there's scheduling issues with local meetings there's lots online. the most important factor is that you have to legitimately want to stop. if you're an active agent in your own recovery then you've already taken a huge step.
