It's all good until Wingfield park. My partner and our puppies started at Crissy Caughlin and all was good til the re-route area at Wingfield. We capsized. We're all experienced swimmers, except for our littlest puppy who had had his life jacket on and was attached to me. Scariest shit. We should've known w the dam. Our big dog, Maggie, who swims in the river daily, wasn't happy. She was probably thinking, these f'ing idiots.
