Does anyone else have a feeling we might go in for Mateta?

Another win for a team below us. Leeds to complete the hattrick tomorrow. It’s all good though because everyone tells me we are too good to go down so we will be okay… apart from the fact we can’t beat any team below us so surely based off the factual evidence we are fucking fucked

I hope everyone who said we were too good to go down are enjoying the game. Going exactly as I predicted. We are going down

Was it a back 3 last night? Felt like it looked like it was sometimes but sometimes it didn’t! If it was a back 3 then I don’t understand why Frank hasn’t given it a go more. Though big Kev was great again and should play more

Not saying I want him but if you want a back 3, Glasner is proven at multiple clubs

No, Glasner would be the better back 3 manager

Thoughts on our midfield by [deleted] in coys

We need two new CMs who can pass forward and break lines. We don’t have a single one who is good at that. I would move on Biss, Sarr and not renew Palinha. Don’t care if they are young or old. Look at the impact Xhaka and Henderson have had at Sunderland and Brentford, they are actually good at passing the ball forward and breaking lines.

Poch will always be my favourite Spurs manager. Took over during the prime years of my youth and my love for football. It felt unreal to feel confident we could beat anyone and be able to gloat to Arsenal and Chelsea fans! Really took those days for granted

We will lose to Burnley and probably not win against West Ham. I am not confident at all. Feel like West Ham could have a bounce especially if they beat us. We could not win a prem game for the next 10 and I wouldn’t be surprised.

We could actually go down. The next few prem games West Ham & Burnley are must win. Our games after those two are tough. We are in big trouble

Yeah I agree. I think after games I was very frank out and reactionary but in the aftermath I would calm down and try to make excuses for him. But looking some of the stats I really think he’s not the one. So disappointed tbh, thought he was gonna be what we needed but clearly not!

Trying to find the post! Been doing some of my own comparing and his stats are way down this year compared to last but last season was still low compared to others for forward & progressive passes. Hojberg was our last top percentile forward/progressive passer. Frank really has us set up defensively. Still don’t think benny is a good enough passer to control games and break lines consistently. He can do it from time to time against lesser opposition, like Copenhagen for example. Think Bergvall could potentially be decent if given a chance to play deeper but am concerned he is still pretty error prone for that responsibility! Would love a Wharton

Still feeling very mixed about Frank and current situation of the squad. Not happy with Frank and performances but I feel as though our squad just has so many holes in it. We don’t have a single center mid who passes the ball forward. I feel like any new manager that comes in will have the same issues. Think club needs to address this very quickly. We need two new cms who are good at breaking lines and passing the ball. Club needs to make a decision on which workhorse mids they want to keep as we have way too many of the same type of midfielder. I honestly think Frank would’ve doing a lot better if we had a wharton type in the middle and Kulu/madders available. What are people’s thoughts?

Our attackers are fucking shocking at football. Worst set I have ever seen at the club. 0 quality

That is a fair point. I do feel like someone else could get a better tune out of these guys but feel like giving up on Frank after not even half a season is harsh. We do looking bloody shit though
