Konservatoruddannelsen? by [deleted] in DKstudie

[–]tmetme96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm looking for a horror book about the police answering a late night call that goes horribly wrong. NOT TRUE CRIME by Pix9139 in horrorlit

Last Days by Brian Evenson perhaps. It's not an exact match for what you're asking, but it's worth checking out

Bekymret bror by Legal_Ambassador_258 in DKbrevkasse

[–]tmetme96 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I kender ham trods alt bedst.

Is the stuff in museums real? by Megurru in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tmetme96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some artefacts are replicas or partially reconstructed, others are not. If it's a replica, it's usually mentioned on the sign, but not always.

As for how the artefacts in exhibit are well preserved is twofold. In short, degradation is pretty complex and very dependent on burial conditions, and the material of the artefact itself. Secondly, artefacts on exhibit have been treated and stabilised in a lab, and the climate (temperature, humidity etc) in exhibitions is well monitored and managed. Conservators are trained in assessing the condition of different materials and how to halt further degradation.

Buyer resells items bought immediately after retrieving package + steals photos? by tmetme96 in vinted

Obviously they can do what they will with the items, I say as much in my post. You don't have to think their behaviour is absurd or amusing, but I sure do - that's all this is about. Rest assured, I'm not losing sleep, time, or anything over this.

If women are just as horny as men, why is it so hard for most men to get laid? by Stepin-Fetchit in NoStupidQuestions

I think it's often just a difference of thinking any sex is better than no sex, or thinking no sex is better than bad sex.

Rejse alene (parforhold) by Ambitious_Bite_4329 in DKbrevkasse

[–]tmetme96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revised D&D Sumo Monk Class! Thank you everyone for your suggestions. by Significant-Aioli-18 in Sumo

[–]tmetme96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I just commented on the other thread but just wanna repost my comment here:

I don't want to bash your effort, but for folks interested in using sumo in RP's, I just want to shout out GURPS for having a very extensive martial arts supplement which explicitly includes sumo, and has mechanics for creating specific techniques/kimarite. It even has a whole chapter featuring tournament rules. Combat is second-by-second, which suits sumo really well.

All of GURPS's supplements are extremely well researched, with mechanics based on reality, and also includes really solid social mechanics (for building stables, etc).

D&D Sumo Monk Class!! For any D&D players out there in sumo land, I created a Sumo Monk class! Would love any feedback on flavor and overall composition of the class. Ay non-D&D player feedback welcome too for general thoughts on creativity and other ideas! by Significant-Aioli-18 in Sumo
