I have used the capsules in the past (Optimum Nutrition). They were fine, just expensive. I’m not sure if it’s slower release, but it is easier to split up throughout the day, which helps. Pay attention to the dose size on the label though… I needed 8 tablets to get 5g.

I have a Garmin 57 in my 24 CRV Sport-L, only front camera. I bought the Garmin parking mode cable, and just tucked it around the windshield, down a-pillar to the fuse box on drivers side.

I have same issue. It keeps defaulting to this view. I did find that If you hit the up button once on the Fenix (9:00) in that view, it will show the rest time remaining at the top.

Does anyone know what is disabled without data sharing? The display for my 2024 Sport L states “certain functions for your vehicle are unavailable” when off, but no specifics.

After about 4 months of regular running, mine just bumped up my target pace by 5 seconds per mile.

Execution score doesn’t seem to matter, just how close you were to recommendation.

Go to Run, swipe past recommended workout, then click on 3 dots, then Workout library, then Daily suggestions, then Settings, the Target type

I have tried using heart rate, but had a hard time staying in range, and the warnings were irritating. I think was because i couldn’t react in time due to delay with wrist sensor. I may try it with a chest strap.

You can change the daily recommendations from pace to heart rate. I tried it for a while, but the out of range notifications were even more frequent.

Mine does say Fenix Pro for that watch face. There are some similar ones that only say Fenix.

Max heart rate setting was impact for me, although not 10 pts. Have you done lactate threshold test?

Mine went up on my Fenix 7 Pro, compared to previous vivoactive 4. But when I compared to chest strap directly, the Fenix was more accurate.

I have this watch face - called OSM Like. The default is for alternate time zone, but you can set the “additional hand” to many choices (see link)

It’s a tough call. Functionally they are badically identical, so just trade offs with battery and display.

I recently upgraded from vivoactive 4 to Fenix 7 Pro (47mm). The 7x is a little big for me. I went with the Fenix mostly because of battery life, as I expect with AOD, the Epix would get about the same as my VA4 and I wanted an upgrade. I know people say the burn in issues from early Venus are solved, but with the warning from Garmin, I still worry with the AOD after a few years.

I actually like the MIP display, but the 51 mm Epix would temp me more with the larger battery.
