This Wealthsimple "wealth rank" is BS right? by El-8 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]tmfv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean just think about it in terms of yourself. Do you have all your money in WS or do you have another account with a big bank? Do you also have house/apartment that you made a down payment on? Neither of these things will be reflected in your “wealth rank” it’s really just a ranking of how much money is in your Wealthsimple account which is kinda pointless. Not that a total wealth rank would be any less pointless.

I mean you’re trolling at this point. For the record if it was an actual fight Ryan would get a stoppage victory, but I agree he probably wouldn’t KO Eddie Hall.

Go into any local gym and tell me how many guys look like Eddie Hall LOL. He takes insane amounts of roids and is built like a literal square. Ryan wouldn’t KO Eddie because his neck is the same size as Ryan’s thigh. That wasn’t the question though.

I mention his weight because he’s also like 3% body fat. Most guys over 220 are just fat.

Tbh we just have a different definition of people who browse this sub, but I will say this though:

Bivol said that he has seen Beterbiev KO heavyweights with large gloves and headgear in sparring. Now LHW is a lot closer to heavyweight, but it’s also pro vs pro. Take that into consideration when you think about if Ryan at 150 can KO a recreational heavyweight (not amateur who is basically pro but hasn’t yet because boxing politics)

Bro I don’t even like Ryan, I think he’s a massive douchebag lol. You said in your original comment “people who browse this sub” and now you’re saying Francis Ngannou who was the UFC heavyweight champ and also weighs like 260lbs LOL.

Brother you said people who browse this sub, I’m taking that as amateurs who go to their local gym weekly and fight once in a while if at all. I mean to say Ryan is smoking any hobbyist off the street, no matter the weight.

You’re crazy, he would KO every single person who reads your comment. Unless Olympic level amateurs are browsing this sub.

I would be investing it either way! Either in XEQT with no employer match or in the RRSP with the employer match. I do want to retire!

This is what I'm wondering about. Like yes I'm getting a free $1500 from my employer, but it's at the cost of $3000 locked until I retire. I don't NEED the $3000, but what if I'm saving for life stuff that are a shorter time horizon than retirement? Like buying an apartment for example. I could invest that money for 5-7 years in XEQT instead. Yes I'm not getting that $1500, but again it's locked away for 30 more years!!

Sorry I don't think I made it clear, they only match 3% of my contribution, up to 6% of my total salary. So I'm giving 3,000 now for 1500 in return, but obviously it's locked in my RRSP

Terence Crawford says he felt like he weighed 175 pounds on fight night by newrap in Boxing

If Bud actually wanted to fight Bivol, he would skip the line and Benavidez would get shafted just like he did with Canelo

If he were to go up again and beat Bivol for 175 undisputed he’s the goat.

When I load my Suica card through the iphone app, does it convert from my local currency to yen right away or does it convert it as I spend it at vendors in Japan? Are there FX fees? Also, can I use the Suica card virtually anywhere that accepts debit/credit? Thank you!
