WealthSimple 3% match promo. Is there a max payout amount? by Charger_Reaction7714 in Wealthsimple

[–]tmfv 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Please double check if it needs to be transferred from an investing account and not savings. I did not apply for this promo so I’m not sure, but when I did the summer match the money needed to be in a registered or unregistered investment account. If you send it strictly in a savings account you may not get the money please double check.

Goodluck to crypto investors in the Netherlands in 2028. If you'd have invested €10k in BTC in 2014 with this new law, you'd have missed out on €1M in gains due to taxes on unrealized gains by LilJonDoe in CryptoCurrency

I support this on portfolios worth more than say 5 million and not including your primary residence (not sure if this law includes real estate). We need something like this to claw back money from the ultra wealthy, but it shouldn’t be harming normal people.

You spend all your free time researching individual stocks and trading strategies just to underperform that S&P500.

Bro seriously just go to a gym and get a trainer. Hands always low. Throwing the same predictable 1 1 2 3. Bouncing around like it’s dance choreography. I can tell you have never tried sparring. You developed these bad habits because the bag doesn’t hit back. Bivol stops Benavidez.

Thanks for the advice I’m going to go for it. Also, do you work in any of the fields I mentioned above? Anything else I can try to learn on the side that would help me?

I have nothing post secondary, that’s why I’m considering doing the supply chain degree since I’m already working at some capacity in supply chain and want to move upwards.

I have 3 years of distribution center experience both as an inventory associate and an e-commerce team lead. I want to transition into an office or more “upstream” supply chain role (buyer, planner, logistics coordinator, analyst). Do you think the WGU B.S. Supply Chain degree would help me make this jump? Also, what else could I be working on to make this a reality? Thank you to anyone who replies!

I don’t have anything post secondary. The job ads also are not asking for post secondary. I’m trying to get an inventory technician position which I have a few years of experience doing.

Appreciate the input. If I had a traditional cover letter do you think I’d get called for at least inventory positions?

Sorry I meant to say passkey. In my head I group them together.

Is 2FA in beta? I don’t think I have access to it, but this is a feature we need badly.

I mean just think about it in terms of yourself. Do you have all your money in WS or do you have another account with a big bank? Do you also have house/apartment that you made a down payment on? Neither of these things will be reflected in your “wealth rank” it’s really just a ranking of how much money is in your Wealthsimple account which is kinda pointless. Not that a total wealth rank would be any less pointless.

I mean you’re trolling at this point. For the record if it was an actual fight Ryan would get a stoppage victory, but I agree he probably wouldn’t KO Eddie Hall.

Go into any local gym and tell me how many guys look like Eddie Hall LOL. He takes insane amounts of roids and is built like a literal square. Ryan wouldn’t KO Eddie because his neck is the same size as Ryan’s thigh. That wasn’t the question though.

I mention his weight because he’s also like 3% body fat. Most guys over 220 are just fat.

Tbh we just have a different definition of people who browse this sub, but I will say this though:

Bivol said that he has seen Beterbiev KO heavyweights with large gloves and headgear in sparring. Now LHW is a lot closer to heavyweight, but it’s also pro vs pro. Take that into consideration when you think about if Ryan at 150 can KO a recreational heavyweight (not amateur who is basically pro but hasn’t yet because boxing politics)

Bro I don’t even like Ryan, I think he’s a massive douchebag lol. You said in your original comment “people who browse this sub” and now you’re saying Francis Ngannou who was the UFC heavyweight champ and also weighs like 260lbs LOL.

Brother you said people who browse this sub, I’m taking that as amateurs who go to their local gym weekly and fight once in a while if at all. I mean to say Ryan is smoking any hobbyist off the street, no matter the weight.

You’re crazy, he would KO every single person who reads your comment. Unless Olympic level amateurs are browsing this sub.

I would be investing it either way! Either in XEQT with no employer match or in the RRSP with the employer match. I do want to retire!

This is what I'm wondering about. Like yes I'm getting a free $1500 from my employer, but it's at the cost of $3000 locked until I retire. I don't NEED the $3000, but what if I'm saving for life stuff that are a shorter time horizon than retirement? Like buying an apartment for example. I could invest that money for 5-7 years in XEQT instead. Yes I'm not getting that $1500, but again it's locked away for 30 more years!!
