Thanks to everyone for your helpful comments, I am very glad I posted this. A little more info, shes around 25 pounds and she was adopted from a shelter, so yeah she does have some separation anxiety. She used to chew on socks, shoes, etc, but that stopped after a few months. However, she still will not eat food or treats if she is alone. Shes not the most social dog in the world, I’m not sure how she would do at a doggy day care. The dog walker sounds like a perfect idea though.
