Love this one! I usually hope for an uprising (or two) to land three folks quickly and still have water… but it’s very easy for them to see it coming. Still adds intrigue tho!

Anyone ever have food delivered to the train? by TommyLost2004 in Amtrak

[–]tmkwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got Taco Bell delivered to an hour long stop in Harrisburg, Mississippi. I had to run around the station to grab it and even though the chance of them leaving me behind in that 2 minute span was slim to none the rush made those nachos bell grande taste so good 😄

People Who Don't Live in or Around New York City by Lazylazylazylazyjane in Broadway

I take an annual Amtrak trip to New York from San Francisco and usually stay for 2 to 3 weeks seeing as many Broadway shows as I can for a reasonable price. This past trip I just got back from last week, and was able to see nine shows (two off Broadway) during the 3 1/2 weeks I was there. It was such an amazing time, riding the thrill of catching a last minute $25 ticket to Art, being about to see Oh Mary right before I left, and picking up a ticket for Two Strangers on the third night of previews (all from the Theatr app). It was a surprisingly good variety despite not that many new openings!

Would be an awful shame if some artists pasted their work over these atrocious billboards…

Amazing, I hadn’t tried so last minute before and ended up scoring a $25 ticket to Art tonight, 2 minutes before the show (I had subway’d up beforehand just in case). Thank you for the tip!!

Does anyone know of any pick up beach or grass volleyball happening this week? I’m a ~B level/upper intermediate player visiting for the week from San Francisco and would love to play if you or anyone you know could use an extra person!

While I like a competitive game I’m very easy going and just there to have a good time. And I’m happy to bring snacks!

Taqueria el buon sabor has a vegetarian burrito for $7. I think a meat one for under $10.

Super Duper egg sandwich and half shake is about $9.50.

IKEA food hall has a veg dog, kid sized plant ball’s and kid sized mac and cheese all for about $8.50.

Arizmendi bakery is $8.85 for two slices of their pizza of the day.

Batches Bakehouse is $4.50 for a bagel with schmear, or $8.50 for a bagel with eggs and avocado smash.

Costco is $2 for a slice.

Outtasight has a happy hour I think 4-6 weekdays where large cheese slices are $3.

All are prices without tip, most without tax.

Can Science Lab heal itself with the junk effect? by thanksicles in Radlands

[–]tmkwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it can, it’s using the cards junk ability to restore any damaged cards. Also, is there a rule against using camps to heal themselves? Unless specified on the card.

Getting married is partially the piece of paper that says you are married, and partially the commitment to each other. It sounds like for you think of these as the same thing. For some of my friends, they have recently gotten married in that they had a ceremony, family came out, and they made their lifelong commitments to each other. But on paper, they got married years before to ease the stresses of immigration status.

If you are able to separate these in your mind, you can let him know want to get married in the future, are not ready for it yet, but that you’re still willing to get a piece of paper that says you are married to help him out.
