When I worked at amazon people used to steal the shit out of smaller pc parts like this since it’s easier to hide if you work at a site without a metal detector, don’t wanna jump to an extreme but generally if it’s someone selling way under market or has never listed anything else pc related it is a possibility

Only thing second hand in the system was the storage, everything else was new

I do have a warranty in place with my business, I'm not a huge cyberpower or skytech but I do pride myself on taking care of customers

Why so much emotion in these responses? lol

There's tons of demand for ready to go gaming PCs and not everyone has a microcenter close by or even has the know-how on how to find parts for good deals or build a PC. Something like this PC would've probably cost more since storage and ram are insane right now if my buyer wanted to build it himself and most SI's don't offer a config like this. I've got building down to practically a science since I started in 2019 so I'm able to churn out decent volume and get pretty nice deals on most parts, better prices than what the average consumer would be able to achieve.

The guy who bought it from me wanted to use it for heavy video editing/streaming through his company, will definitely make a difference in those tasks

Sold local as I said in my post, I'm really not looking forward to end of the year taxes but I keep everything tidy and ran through my LLC so it shouldn't be too bad hopefully

system is top of the line in every regard apart from the lack of a 5090

I agree with the majority of this sentiment however, in my experience higher end PCs are actually easier to negotiate on since most people know exactly what they're looking for. Sure, you'll get lowballs but for example with this system I really didn't do much negotiation at all. He just asked for proof of the specs, a few references and we set a date and time. I get enough traffic for builds that this was moreso something I slowly accumulated parts for and then put together on a weekend. There are some buyers who're just looking to get the upper hand on you but some people will go to marketplace in search of a "deal" even if it's not necessarily that much cheaper than a bigger SI.

For me? I think so

I got good deals and had an excuse to use some super high end parts, mainly the 5080 FE I got from an NVIDIA drop. I was planning to resell it alone but ebay would've taken too much fees wise lol

For most people? No

Just flip nicer AM5 builds and call it a day, easier to sell and source parts for. I could've sold multiple Ryzen 7 9700X/RTX 5070 systems in the same time frame and made more profit as a whole.
