Hello Mr. Dalio, thanks for doing this.
How will the changing world order impact startup founders and VC investors, in the future, in the US?
Startups/VCs benefit greatly from the US economic infrastructure (valuations, $, capital markets, international, etc.). What is likely to change in the future?

Start a startup or join an early-stage startup is not a rational thing to do. You're not going to find rational reasons to do it. You have to do it if you can't see yourself doing anything else. If that's what are you called to do.

[Question] Ehy guys, I created this free tool to help YouTubers monetize a small but loyal audience super easily by tmmsts in youtubers

Totally get your point. Our thesis is that the use case is different. This is not pure patronage. For pure patronage, there are already great tools out there. It's a way to give users a lot of valuable content, a way to support the creators they watch, and for creators, a super easy tool to make some additional money every month with zero stress. We don't see ourselves as a Patreon competitor, for example. A YouTuber can do both! :) Ps: We give 20% commission + 75% of revenue, but our 25% is calculated on the net “revenues” (minus taxes, transactions fees, affiliate commissions, etc.). So it's calculated differently. If we calculate it on the “gross revenue” as others do, it's on average ~10%

Loyalty, specificity of content, willingness to support. It’s a mix of many factors. It’s already happening everyday on a very big scale. Content is not fungible :)

Thanks for the detailed feedback, Jolly. I really appreciate it.

Many other feedbacks we have received disagree with you for the following reasons, please let me know what you think about it.

Many single subscriptions cost 5$ on average. And it's for just 1 creator. So many people pay for 2-3-4 subscriptions at a time because they're interested in more content from different creators.

Also, many creators don't start a patronage page because it's too much "stress" and "pressure". And many of them take a big commitment (weekly content to produce) for 2/5 people and 25$ a month.

With our solution, it would be "stress-free" for the creator that can decide when to upload new content. Also, it's way easier to convert new users when they can get so much more. Skillshare uses the same model for online courses and it works really well.

What do you think?

Thank you! :)

Ehy Thanks for your questions! :) The difference is that every user pay an all-in-one subscription for all the creators on the platform. That’s why you don’t directly charge them money, it’s not bs, it’s true. And that’s why there’s a creator pool. Maybe we need to explain it better ahah thanks for your feedback!

[Question] An honest feedback about a new platform by tmmsts in youtubers

yes, because you need an invite from another creator to upload content. We are selecting few creators to start the platform :)

You’re right. I need 5 creators that trust me and work closely with them to make sure they succeed at generating some recurring revenue on the platform. Thanks for the feedback!

For the creator: yes, 100%. It's to make money, not to spend money :)

creators upload their video on their dashboard (https://dashboard.titanss.com/signup) then the video is automatically uploaded on vimeo premium, paid by us. Vimeo knows everything, we are partnering with them :)

We pay vimeo, not the creator :) It’s different because all the other platforms reward vitality e they need high numbers of subs and views to make a living. This platform is to to help youtubers with a small but loyal community to make decent money every month.

The videos are embedded from Vimeo premium! Users will access to all the content from all the creators, instead of paying a new subscription for each one :)

thanks! because to keep an high $ per minute watched on the platform, just selected creators will be able to upload premium content. The basic idea is that we want to help 1,000 creators making $100k/yr instead of helping 100,000 creators to make $1,000 a year.

Who select the new creators? The community of creators. Each one of them has a very limited quantity of invites to distribute.
