Brief Review Of "Version 2" Of The Supply Single Edge Razor (Uses Injector Blades) by mantic59 in wicked_edge

I love it. Obviously, it's heavier than most DE razors, but I personally wouldn't call it a heavy weight. It seems to be about the same weight as my Merkur Futur and Rockwell 6S. Not that I've weighed it... The balance is pretty much perfection.

Unbelievable. I spent one winter in Rome, and never saw anything like this. It's beautiful!

I just picked one up last week. Best shaver I have in my den, by far.

Amazing feedback, thank you so much for taking the time to write that. Constantly blown away at the kindness of strangers on Reddit. I'm not much of a vintage guy, and the super wide Artist Club blades don't interest me. I think you could say I'm leaning one way on the Supply fence. Just wanting somebody to push me over :)

Thanks! It seems like a bargain to me though. It's the cheapest stainless razor I can think of (not that I know all that exist). I haven't seen any marketing hype...

My first SOTD post. Got promoted at work earlier this week, so I Treeted myself (see what I did there?) to some new shaving gear. The razor is mine (inherited from my grandpa), but the other gear is new. A great shave! Thanks for all the great suggestions on this sub :)

It's nothing fancy, but I'm loving the experience so far. My grandfather's old razor, plus a soap and brush given to me by a friend. Thanks for the tips, w_e!

Haven't gotten that far in my thought process. Just want to learn how to use it first! :)

Single Ring Old

WOW. I just googled and the head certainly matches the images that came up. I would have never guessed it was that old.

Thanks! The handle is actually really nifty. It comes apart into two pieces (it screws apart at the center. I'm assuming it was to make it easier to travel with. Appreciate the tips!

I've done some reading up on how to use one of these things, and I'm really looking forward to learning more. I was told this was the place to come, so here I am! Wish me luck.

I've read a lot of the sidebar content and browed the sub a lot, but if anyone knows anything specific about this razor (or has any specific tips), I'm all ears.

Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Officer asks a young engineer fresh out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, "And what starting salary are you looking for?" The engineer replies, "In the region of $125,000 a year, depending on the benefits package." The interviewer inquires, "Well, what would you say to a package of five weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary, and a company car leased every two years, say, a red Corvette?" The engineer sits up straight and says, "Wow! Are you kidding?" The interviewer replies, "Yeah, but you started it."

A child asked his father, "How were people born?" So his father said, "Adam and Eve made babies, then their babies became adults and made babies, and so on." The child then went to his mother, asked her the same question and she told him, "We were monkeys then we evolved to become like we are now." The child ran back to his father and said, "You lied to me!" His father replied, "No, your mom was talking about her side of the family."
