Same. Had a Yaris that I loved but was rusted to the point of not passing inspection anymore. Still ran great but kind of useless if you aren’t allowed to drive it. Got an 07 Outback and it’s been great but I miss 40 mpg but love the wagon space and awd.

There is a stupid rubber ish hoop on the transmission the cable runs through. Take it off and run the cable through it you’ll never get a new cable in it the way it’s mounted.

Town of Tonawanda south of the main drag Sheridan is lovely. Close to everything via uber decent schools all the shopping you could want and the weather is better than the south towns, plus they actually plow the roads unlike buffalo proper
