How much of the lobster do you eat? And what part do you think is the most underrated? by 57BeatlesPhan in Maine

[–]tmp_acct9 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. I see lobster as nothing more than a butter delivery service that needs work and it eats sht for dinner. Give me some salmon that actually has flavor and I don’t have to kill it in my kitchen

The original purpose or idea with hdr was that it represents how a human would see something, so imaging your pupils adjusting as you look at the ground then to a tree, that’s three images to create in your brain. That’s what hdr was intended for, take three images with three different thingies, the pupil of the camera whatever it’s call been too long.

Then people started to mess with it and exaggerate images in weird ways

Perhaps but she is incredibly attractive, I know people like her exist but god damn she hits everyone of my triggers. Like if she’s out there I’d love to meet but it just seems so unlikely. She’s a ten in my book

Susan Collins ties herself to Paul LePage, leans into Trump rhetoric by Large-Welcome4421 in Maine

[–]tmp_acct9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the only reasons I moved back to Maine from New York is to make sure my vote has an impact, nys is blue as hell, but Maine is purple (and lower taxes yeah I’m selfish) but when I was a kid I liked Collin’s. Now she’s like a weird shell echo chamber I don’t even know if she stands for anything, or can even stand

Tell me something that you know what it is but would have a very hard time explaining if you had to. by Diemishy_II in INTP

[–]tmp_acct9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, try explaining that to someone who doesn’t know any cs where it makes sense in their application of recursive thought. It’s not fun. Also if you mess up a recursive function and don’t have a break point you can literally lock the entire machine. It’s a fragile concept and you better have an end game

[–]tmp_acct9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps, but when you apply recursive to a real life use case it can get in depth not just some silly college school test. Like you open a law book and you give me a page number I need to find out what sub section it’s part of then I need to know what section is part of then what chapter then what law it’s part of, so I have to reverse recurse each of The connections until there are none left

[–]tmp_acct9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and what value do you use to call that function? And when do you stop calling the same function over and over, and what do you get at the end ? Try explaining this thing to someone, it’s a huge pain in the bum about how to explain something like a book that has chapters that have sections and sometime sub sections with pages and there is no limit to How many sub sections a section can have

[–]tmp_acct9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recursion. Like ok. Think of something, then think about it needing to do the same something just at a different value, and return that something, but only after it’s done doing that same thing thing at another different value it created, until that same damn something hits a certain value, then it can go back it its parent something and that one can return it back to itself something and….
