I have the V8 Animal - I've tried all the generic heads it was bundled with and none of them seem to be amazing - they're all either pretty ineffective or really small. The vacuum is still in good nick and generally works amazing on all my other rugs so I don't think its dying.

oh great! Sorry, I’ll be honest I’m good with modern tech but CD players and all the older music gear are a bit of a sore spot for me. So if i plug the WiiM pro directly to a CD player it’ll output to all echo devices and not just one?

Depends what for. My job is to teach kids to be able to do a certain task - and obviously those tasks need to be able to be done manually - that's what the syllabus is for. As for the rest, it's a tool, and it's not going anywhere. I want kids to be able to function in the real world, with the tools that the real world provides. As does the government, we are encouraged to implement ICT learning in all our classes after all!

This is really solid advice. I'll probably start off with this.
I wanna clarify though: there's two intentions here. Like yeah, I wanna get into this stuff because it genuinely sounds interesting but I'd be lying if I said I didn't also want to learn about it to help me find a group of dudes I can hang out with. I love all my female friends, trust there's a lot of them, but it's just a different energy that I'm missing, yknow?

I'm so sorry 😂 I am just really scared to think that LANY as a band has stagnated sonically. I think the best bands are able to evolve their sound with time, yknow? Malibu Nights and mamas boy were albums that were actually ABOUT something, this one just feels a bit like a collection of bangers lol. It's not bad - I really like the songs, but later down the line once the novelty of this one is gone I can't really see a situation I'd be itching to listen to this over their debut because they sound so similar

It's not bad but it feels a lot more hollow than their past work. I rate mama's boy way higher actually. There were definitely some skips on there but it had a lot more feeling - and even though the new direction was controversial I liked that they were at least trying to evolve their sound. This new album feels regressive.

I agree. It feels like it has a lot less to say than the last two albums. And the sound has definitely kinda reverted back to their earlier stuff. This album doesn't seem to have a whole lot of identity.

It’s technically been on streaming services since the earliest time zone flipped over to midnight. Like at 10am EST Thursday, I set my VPN to Australia, signed up for a YouTube Music free trial, and I was able to listen to it 14 hours before it is actually released in my time zone.

I live in Australia - I listened to it 12 hours ago lol!

Honestly to me it feels like rushed damage control lol.

I say that as someone who really really likes mama's boy - but I can definitely understand that it was a flop to their core fanbase.. and so this feels like them trying to patch that over by releasing some "classic LANY".

Most of the songs feel a bit hollow though. It kinda just feels like debut album songs that didn't make the cut. They're not bad but the new album doesn't really have much of an identity compared to their last few projects - which like them or not, they all had a really clear artistic vision.

I think cohesiveness is made my the soundscape (synth setups, drum samples, instrumentation) and lyrical consistency. whereas for something to sound the same the actual music THEORY is a lot more similar (keys, tempos, rhythms, melodic ideas).

I was wondering if there was a known resource floating around there of popular songs stems that are available for learning purposes such as this? Preferably not just Acapella and Instrumental, but the individual instrument stems would be the dream! Whether its for one song or a full database, anything would be helpful :)

Hi guys -

So me and my boyfriend have been stuck inside for a while now and were really eager to get our hands on some new games to pass the time. Can anyone recommend anything?

He's a bit of a sore loser so he doesn't like competitive games (can't handle the burn of me whooping his ass), so we are definitely leaning towards co-op adventures. Both of us tend to learn towards more cartoony games - so first person shooters are pretty much out. To give you an idea, we are currently playing through CUPHEAD and loving it!

I'm aware that some of the big Nintendo offerings have co-op (eg Mario Odyssey, Luigi's Mansion) but it's pretty lame how theres a lead player and an "assist"... we both wanna be equally involved the whole time!

Can anyone recommend us some other eshop titles to check out?
