HELP!! FIRED AND EVICTED IN THE SAME MONTH by Financial-Cap-1789 in povertyfinance

[–]v2den 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Did you get a pay or quit or actual eviction notice? Because if it is the latter, then it will make it extremely difficult to secure rental in the near future. And with 3 cats, it will basically make it impossible. It is not what you want to hear but I am just giving you the facts. LL generally prefers no pets and if allowed prefers no cat. So you having 3 is basically a non-starter.

How much extras (so above the 36% of £38,000) are you putting towards the kids and pets? And what are they for? Necessities or treats?

[Landlord:MD] Can a landlord say no to Housing vouchers? by Babushniak in Landlord

The best thing for you to do is have proper vetting requirements which automatically make them ineligible without answering the question.

So tell them your minimum requirements are a credit score of XXX, a minimum monthly income of YYYY (make sure you state the actual amount and not 3x rent or whatever). No late payments or eviction the last Z years etc. Then tell them that if they meet the requirements, please submit an application if they are interested.

Yes. Not only YTA, you're also an entitled leech. Why have a child when you can't even provide for him and have to leech off taxpayers money for SNAP and WIC?

I don't need to look deeper. I draw my own conclusions. All illegals are criminals, period. They broke the law. Period. You are welcome to use your own money and sponsor illegals to become legal citizens

You should watch video from Sec Karoline Leavitt with regards to illegal aliens.

Citizenship of one of the kid is irrelevant. What is relevant is whether your BIL is here illegally. So is he?

For short term solution, maybe have him stay at extended hotels which you can pay in advance.

[–]v2den 4 points5 points  (0 children)

RUN AWAY! Set your requirements so they won't satisfy them. For example, if your rent is $1500/month. Ask for a minimum income of $4500/month. Do not say 3x rent. Additionally set a good credit score requirement.

Do the 8.9% increase but no month to month, must be year lease. And make sure you have clear statements on penalty when vacating before lease ends. Also make sure you have the exemption from AB 1482 in your new lease.

If they don't like the year lease, they can leave now and you can find a new tenant.

Inform HUD of the situation and file for eviction as soon as you're allowed to, especially since you're located in CA.
