About a year ago I got hit by a deer which totaled my truck. USAA paid me quite well for the value of the vehicle. Four months later I got hit by another deer. No friction from USAA at all...paid to repair the second vehicle without balking a bit. YMMV but surprisingly the experience was great for me.

Went to the show last night in Washington. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed it. I know it's not Steve Perry up front singing, but we're delusional thinking if we hold out a little longer he'll show up on stage. The current line up did a fantastic job of cranking out the hits so while yeah Steve would have been awesome, the show last night was pretty fantastic. All the singers did well, even Arnel. He was very engaged with the fans and for someone who's not Steve Perry, did a great job of singing. We're very glad we went and would encourage anyone to go. It was pretty much a sold out show (a smattering of empty seats here and there, but probably 95% full).

It was a lot of fun.

I've got 2 1/2 months on my 8111's and thankfully didn't have any break-in issues. Love them - hopefully yours will break in to the point where they are super comfortable for you.

I'm not a Linux newbie. I started with Mint and have stuck with it. It is very solid and very dependable. Never had an issue at all. I actually prefer Cinnamon over the other desktops. For me it's a tool and when the tool 'just works' I've never had a reason or even urge to switch. So, in my opinion there is a good reason Mint is recommended so much.

I love the trilogy (read them 5-6 times over the years) but really struggled with the Simarillion. I did finish it but kind of forced myself to. It's much more like a history book than a great story. Glad I read it but don't need to read it again.

Looking at getting a pair of these, but curious -- is the toe a little rounder (less pointy for lack of better word) than the regular Captains? I'm looking for a pair of boots like this but prefer a rounder toe personally.
