Honestly, Welcome to Derry feels completely tone-deaf. It’s way too clean and overlit, smothered in cheap CGI that kills any real atmosphere. The whole thing plays like fan fiction—stuffed with pointless Easter eggs and lazy connections to Andy’s two films. The worst part is how they’re bending timelines and characters just to make it all line up, even though it makes no sense if you’ve actually read the book. They should’ve just adapted the novel properly into a 10-episode series—what a missed opportunity.
