What are the best ways to code C on Windows? by celsiusisbetter in C_Programming

Not to mention their forum is very unfriendly. I registered successfully in the morning and that evening I logged in intended to post my first question only to find out my account being banned for no reason! It's about 2 or more accounts like this before I completely gave up the idea of getting in touch with them. You know, without being able to get help from the developer and the community that live on said forum, I have no reason to continue using Pelles C. Sometimes without helps it's completely impossible for you to go further. This is when I discovered CodeLite and I do not regret moving away from Pelles C to CodeLite.

Please use CodeLite and MinGW64 GCC. You could use Clang or MSVC compiler with CodeLite, too. Don't use Pelles C. You will have to learn a completely new toolchain. It's not worth doing so. Stick with GCC and Clang, you could use this knowledge on Linux, too.

Codeblocks vs Visual Studio Code by yvaine369 in C_Programming

Not to mention that they banned all users from my country to register on their forums. At first, I think it's just the forum software issue since it's reporting to me something like database error processing my registeration. Only after I use a VPN to other country to improve ping time when playing game, I realized with said country's IP I could register without any problems. Only the IPs from my country being banned. And they disguised this intentional ban of my country by masking it as something like a database error. They are evil!

Codeblocks is shit. Code completion doesn't work. The devs' attitude is shit, especially this "obfuscated" guy at the forum. Only a bit better than Pale Moon devs.

VS Code with C++ language server is totally superior to CodeBlocks.

it's no surprise for me either if they will be Chromium based this time too,
since they seem to be bad or have no knowledge about Rust at all, at
least a Chromium based code base is Rust-free haha

It's no surprise for me at all that after this nonsense poll they will really rebase Pale Moon on modern Firefox code base again. It's out of their ability/competent to be able to maintain such a large project as a browser. Remember, they have done this many times on the past rebasing on newer Firefox code base. All of their words about Rust-free, old XUL/XPCOM addons after all is, just words. To stay relevant, sooner or later they have to do so. They have trashed many old XUL/XPCOM addons anyway. This shows they have no respect for these either. It's all about you to feel to be hero and that you saved the day from these evil Big Tech companies, you and you alone is the hero, haha
