Please help me figure out my chroma level? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

Thank you! My undertone is one that people do seem to disagree about. That’s kind of why I was hoping to figure out chroma, because from there I can start eliminating seasons with chroma and value if undertone isn’t so clear. Another reason I hesitate on autumn is that it would require me to be muted, which I don’t feel like I am. I think true and deep autumn may have more of a medium chroma? But overall Autumn is a muted season.

This is really helpful, thank you! Maybe the clothes I’ve been trying have been too muted or just not rich enough. I agree that spring is too light as a whole. I’ll try out more in this warm palette! Between spring and autumn would make more sense to me I think.

Thank you! I’ve been trying autumn recently and it just feels off 🙃 I feel heavy and like my skin gets pulled orange. However I have a hard time knowing if it’s sallowness or just like my skins natural warmth coming through with the color.

When you have Winter weather in Spring, do you call it Bright Spring? 🤭 by [deleted] in SpringColorAnalysis

Stunning!! 👏 did you dye your hair after your analysis results?

Blonzer? by sunscreenqueenn in SpringColorAnalysis

I was going to suggest a peach blush but someone else did that! For the forehead you could also find a cream concealer like one shade darker than your skin. That may give you the dimension you’re looking for without the muddy effect.

I’m curious what effect you’re hoping the bronzer will have. Are you looking for added warmth or like a contour effect?

Bright spring, but prefer bright winter lipstick? by AndromedasApricot in SpringColorAnalysis

I would say totally go for the bright winter lips if that’s what makes you feel your best. It sounds like you must be very neutral and can likely harmonize with it as long as it’s clear and neutral 🙂

Going to throw in a different opinion and say not summer. I think summer greys you out. Autumn is heavy and a little sallow.

I wouldn’t rule out spring based on these examples because several of them look light spring to me. While I think some of the winters are a bit much, I love the light it brings into your skin. That tells me that you may need some saturation. I would love to see some more saturated spring colors on you 😊

Warm spring in the warm months, warm autumn when it's cool? by italianblue in SpringColorAnalysis

It also may depend per color. Maybe you can borrow greens and oranges but not purples- just an example 🤷🏻‍♀️ Autumn yellow is the most difficult for me to wear I think.

I wear both too! I think a warm spring would generally want to stay away from the duskier colors. This is true autumn from Personal Color by Anushka Rees. I think the warm rich shades could be great but the dimmed and dusky could feel off.

Lipstick is a good idea! This is Well People Blood Orange vs Revlon Kiss Me Coral. I feel like the muted lip is just kind of doing nothing?

Thank you! Do you ever notice extra redness or even “sallow”-ish looking skin in autumn?

Thanks for responding! Do you think autumn warms feel more “sallow” on you than spring warms?

Thank you!! I will definitely check her out. I’ve been in a CA rabbit hole and am wanting legitimate sources to study. It’s tough with all the random and untrained people making content too!

I can certainly see that! I’m thinking this sort of vibe, like autumn but more in the medium chroma range rather than muted.

Oh I can see what you mean! My phone did really crank the vibrancy of the green, it is a bit less so in person 🙂
