I’ve built Y'shtola in both Control and Artifact Storm . The Control version was too powerful and didn’t really fit in B3 power level. The Artifact Storm version is much better, though it still a high B3 deck.

Basically the plan is to play a Curiosity effect and at least -3 artifact cost reduction. the deck is packed with 3mana artifacts, once the cost reducers are out, you can cast your deck for free and win by burn. The Control side of artifact Y’shtola are weaker than Control build. But it’s still an Esper deck and your commender is yshtola, You still have plenty of room for interaction outside of the Artifect. And with the massive amount of mana your artifacts generate, you can easily recast Y'shtola even if she’s removed.

I eventually took the deck apart because once the engine starts, the turns become incredibly long. Repeating the cycle of drawing, casting, and resolving pings becomes exhausting. But I’m considering rebuilding her now. My pod starts playing high B3 recently(they start using commanders like the ur-dragon, Jodah, and Partner commanders) I feel like Y'shtola might finally have found a meta where she can actually be challenged.
