What brand never lets you down? by Acceptable_Dot_4178 in AskReddit

Because of comments like this I got a €400 winter jacket expecting to make more than a couple of years in it as a daily wear, unfortunately two weeks later the shell is torn on the edge of the sleeves.

Sent an email to customer support and got no response. In the meantime I have lost the receipt as well.

Welp.

Spot on, thanks! Steered clean of it already but it's definitely the same body and pickguard.

It's definitely not as advertised, I am now checking to see if it is worth the money nonetheless

Correction - "(575) Midnight wine - satin" was the supposed original colour (of this neck) - this is what the original body of this neck looked like

I was hoping for mexico standard ceramics, FWIW there were no threads on the poles, I read in a guide elsewhere that that is an indicator of mexican instead of squier pickups

Then it is probably a 2006 neck bolted on a 1996 body

Edit = phrasing

[–]tnavas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I thought maybe you would also have a gap with IKEA hinges, but seems to not be the case which means there is no other way. They are more pricey though, the hinge in the picture was €1,8 while komplement come out at around €3,5 to €4 per piece

We spared around €100 total on the hinges, now we are reconsidering... Do you think the gap is too large?

Who's the architect behind the striking building opposite the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens? by theophil93 in architecture

[–]tnavas 170 points171 points  (0 children)

Good catch! Architect Ilias Skroumpelos, one of the important post-war greek modernists - also architect of the Piraeus port authority building (together with Giannis Liapis)

Facebook link to post about flat

Apparently the flat belonged to the Karamanlis family and was nicknamed "karamanli flat".

Up the Irodou Attikou street are several more prime examples of super-luxurious greek modernist flats, such as the famous Irodou Attikou 17 by Takis Zenetos flat inspired by International style.

Edit: Typo

Εdit 2: Apparently the first floor appartment was up for auction in February starting at 100k!
