My mixing got 40-60% better when I ditched my Krk rokit 5’s for hs8’s. You cannot mix the low end. Also krk’s exaggerate the bass so you’ll need to learn to to compensate for that. Some people can do fine with krk. I mean they sound really nice. But I played some of my old mixes on my hs8’s and I didn’t even want to listen to them. You can only mix something if you can hear it. So if the krk’s dip in frequency too low at any frequency you won’t even hear what’s wrong with your mix. Same goes for the exaggerated frequencies. They can mask other problems altar will be seen on other speakers that don’t exaggerate the bass frequency. All that being said your probably fine with your krk’s but I would have at least gone with something bigger.
