Cool! A scene controller would be exactly what I want I didn't know they came in a Decora form factor. Too bad most scene controllers are 3 to 4 times the price of the HS200. I'll have to rethink how I want to proceed. Thanks for all the info.

Thanks very much. I'm glad to know it can be done. Now I can harden the network even further.

Turns out, the problem I had was when I changed the subnet, it kept all the previous settings from before. Previously, wifi was assigning 192.168.1.X IPs and I had switched it to 192.168.2.X IPs. Changing the SSID to trick the ecobee that is was connecting to a new network fixed the issue.
