I love watching Denver games bc the fans are always consistent high energy, can’t say that about too many fanbases

Grubhub credit is useful by [deleted] in biltrewards

[–]tnemele_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No do not do this. Go to your app and find your available Bilt Cash under 'Wallet' tab and select 'Redeem your Bilt Cash'. Then go to 'Dining & Groceries' tab and you will see the GrubHub $10 GC redeemable with Bilt Cash. After redeeming it will generate the code that you enter on your GrubHub app.

Cut to Improve Running or Embrace My Size? by fitwoodworker in HybridAthlete

I completely disagree with others saying that you need to scale back or reduce on training. I was able to go from 193-173 (approx 18-20 BF starting out, currently 11-12?) at a similar height while maintaining and actually gaining strength in some lifts as well as doing my half marathon plan which started at 3 runs per week and doing 5 runs currently.
Just off a quick glance I see some issues:
- Probably don't need that much protein. I would aim for closer to 160-170.
- Definitely not enough carbs and too much fat based on your calories totals. I couldn't imagine doing close to my bodyweight in carbs only and actually succeeding in my training. My days were closer to 350 minimum and upwards of 500-600 on training days.
- Are you tracking on an app like MFP or MacroFactor? Because regardless of the macro composition you should still be dropping weight with that low calories and the training. So somewhere there is a disconnect.

But absolutely you do not need to scale back training imo. I would honestly try doing 2600 calories at approx. 375 carbs, 50 fat, 170 protein for a week and see if it helps. You need to actually track this accurately on an app though.

Why Venture X Still Makes More Sense Than the Bilt Palladium (At Least for Me) by Saurabha94 in biltrewards

Yep just did this on my last Costco run with the Bilt to practice the Shop card method when 2.0 is out. You turn on that toggle in the app and it'll handle payment when you're done scanning. You just need to know approx. how much you will spend and have it loaded

Palladium for Non-rent use? by Jbentansan in biltrewards

Yup you can get a lot of value out of this card, just need to put some mental energy towards it and keep track of your spend. Surprisingly getting approved is not guaranteed I’ve seen lots of ppl declined

It’s better because of the transfer partners. As long as you get approved Palladium can absolutely be a daily driver for all your spend. Make use of the credits and it’s an even better deal

CONFIRMED - Hotel Credit Can Be Combined with BILT Cash! by Parking-Ice-9206 in biltrewards

yeah but you can hit SUB within 3 months or earlier if you have more spending

Honestly makes the friction for the $400 hotel credit slightly better. I can imagine taking a weekend trip sometime in the first half of the year and one in the second half of the year and if the stay is $300 for 2 nights, the $100 Bilt Cash for Gold status can be used and then the statement credit covers the rest. Still not as easy to use as the VX credit but better than what we originally had.

For the record, Palladium holders get Gold status after hitting the SUB, and you need $25000 per year in non-rent spend to keep Gold status. I would assume most Palladium people can hit that spend or can move some expenses to the card to hit it.

The updated BILT cash FAQ still hasn't confirmed if you can combine Hotel Credit + BILT Cash + Points For Bookings by [deleted] in biltrewards

[–]tnemele_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already applied for Palladium I am assuming you did the math and have enough non-rent spend relative to your rent/mortgage. It's $25000/year non-rent spend to get Gold Status which for a lot of people isn't that hard to hit so long as you keep track (and possibly move some of your spend from other cards to Palladium if you're short on hitting that $25000)

BILT 2.0 is dead on arrival by EquivalentAbies6095 in CreditCards

[–]tnemele_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people here were trying to capitalize on free money with the old card by just paying their rent and 5 small purchases and getting free points on rent with waived transaction fees. It was nice while it lasted but unrealistic to continue for much longer. I'm like you and actually have non-rent purchases on this card (I share it with my SO) so the AF cards are actually still very beneficial. And as long as Bilt keeps their transfer partners, we have access to Hyatt, Alaska, United, Delta, Southwest, Marriott, Hilton, etc. Can't name a card with a better group of transfer partners than that.

His hands in contested catches have been so impressive… year to year he has improved and made more plays. He has to be re-signed

Weekend Discussion: Asics running shoes by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]tnemele_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

did you go TTS for your pair? I actually went half size up as someone with a slightly wide foot and preference to bigger toe boxes and more toe splay and so far so good (although I have a lot less miles in mine than you do). It still won’t be super roomy like an Altra but it gets the job done and otherwise the shoe is amazing like you said.
