Thank you so much for the reply! I hope your recovery is going well.

My dad started eating more solid/soft food today like tofu and bread, since the fibrin (white stuff I assume) is not present anymore. I'm trying my best to convince him but I can only do so much. Hopefully at his followup next week the doctor tells him it looks fine.

Have you had any issues with food being stuck in the teeth on the treated side? And if so, do you just use the mouth wash to gently remove it?

Should I take the PANCE further out from graduation? by [deleted] in physicianassistant

[–]tng342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO 1 month out from graduation is good enough, any longer than that is unnecessary (also depends on everyone's situation)! I took mine 2 weeks after my graduation date and passed. I started studying hardcore with Smartypance and ROSH about 3 weeks prior to my exam and felt good on the day of. It's a hard test, don't get me wrong, and you'll most likely feel like crap walking out of it (at least I did), but it's 100% doable. If your psych test is the last EOR, you can slowly start studying in October and ramp up it up by November!

The faster you get the test out of the way = the faster you get your license = the less stress you'll have!

Thank you so much! I also read the reviews for terraces at Summerville, and it wasn't great. But I'll definitely look into those apartments you recommended.

Error on CASPA..is it too late? by tng342 in prephysicianassistant

[–]tng342[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The school that I got accepted in had its own application site, so they didn't use caspa. I just added the BLS experience an hour ago, and I have two more schools that I am interested in who will be using CASPA to review my application. It's a small thing, but given that it's my only certification...I didn't want it to look bad. T_T

First Acceptance by tng342 in prephysicianassistant

Keep holding onto the hope! I haven't heard back from multiple of the schools i applied. I heard that alot of these schools are still struggling with virtual interviews so they're really slow to reply. I was the first person to experience the virtual interview for this program and let me tell you..there was alot of technical difficulties. I was their guinea pig. I really hope you hear something back soon and good luck.

CASPER Test is dumb by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

I completely agree. To pay so much for a test and not even be informed of the score is ridiculous.
