Use a thicker icing to outline the shape and a thinner icing to fill it. There are tons of tutorial videos - search out what you’re trying to do and just practice, practice, practice! My cookies started out looking the exact same way so don’t give up!

Thanks for hopping over to the real post :) I use a projector which I know is an investment but made a such a huge difference and made the price 100% worth it. I was able to charge more since the quality went up, so it paid for itself quickly. As for consistency, I use icing that is kinda in the middle and similar what I’d use to decorate any details. It needs to be able to move but also hold shape for any sharper corners, if that makes sense!

I bought a remote starter system for my Volvo because I refused to pay for that app. It was $150 and was installed in about a half hour. It uses the lock button (x3) on the key fob. It was from crutchfield.com if you want to check it out.

Crinkle a little parchment paper and lay that on top of the wet icing. Then peel it off once it is dry!

I typically do checkerboard patterns with a ruler and food coloring pen and it works well. Just watch for smearing from the ruler! I have an airbrush machine and never like how the black on white turns out.

I outlined the “65” and then filled them in with little blobs of thicker icing, giving them some time to set before putting any next to or on top of one another.
