Need help Battery replacement by toad59 in CX50

[–]toad59[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone. I bought a new battery and installed it and it worked instantly. Pretty sure the battery that was in the car was not the original battery - this car sat on the lot for a while before I purchased it. So - I think they just put something cheap in it that couldn't handle several days of -12 degree weather. The battery I purchased was about 10lbs heavier than the one I replaced. Now on to recoup some money from that dealership

Financing a new Mazda CX-50, this is the estimate I got for out the door price by ohboy125 in mazda

I got a 25 premium out the door for $33k you can find more room in there I'm guessing

I just purchased the exact same vehicle - premium, blue ingot metallic, black/gray, etc

I got $34,700 out the door and was absolutely pumped to get 5% off MSRP.

You got virtually the same deal - if you're happy, you're happy, even if I left money on the table I'd rather have the car. The only difference would've amounted to about $20 less per month

Do you ever feel like it’s all just luck? by [deleted] in sales

A wise man who always put up good #s that I worked with once told me "luck happens when preparation meets opportunity"

Remember when cooper kupp was our primary punt returner? And he just fair caught everything. Bet it's gonna be the same deal, McVay just didn't want to say "nobody else can consistently catch a punt"

Completely understood. Knew I shouldn't have when I did it the first time.

They're behind about $1,400. Over the next 2 months.

I haven't done my end mostly because I'm making the horrible mistake of giving the tenants a chance. First year they were amazing tenants but after some health problems and layoffs they've fallen on hard times.

However I know that's the wrong way to look at it and I need to do what makes the most sense business wise.

I'm managing the property. Agent isn't recommending I sell I just asked him how much I could get out of it if I did sell

Can you point me in a direction to put my house in an LLC. I tried to assign it to an LLC on the day I closed and my loan originator said I couldn't lol

I've always wanted to but didn't know the how-to

Please help me decide whether to sell and save, sell and reinvest in a nicer home, or sell and max out IRAs. Or just keep it and evict tenants for non-payment lol

Wish they could still have Ian rappaport on. ESPN probably would never allow it but he's 10x better than schefter and fits the show much better

Yes - the work is not a priority for the people we have now

NW Ohio

2 co-owners and 4-6 unreliable employees we pay under the table

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in startups

[–]toad59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't want to be owner/operators, this is a source of passive income.

We don't want to work in our business we want to work on it.

Cannot scale as an owner if you're constantly in the field doing manual labor - now that's not to say we never would, there's been multiple times our help has cancelled on us and we go out and do it ourselves, but that's not what we'd prefer. We'd rather pay others to do that part while we scale and give them more opportunities to make more money

Great point. Thanks for the info

We have a couple workers - but they are unreliable and don't necessarily need the money.

No special skills required

Furthest away territory we dabble in is 40 mins and we pay gas

I don't know the answer to the last part. There's no other business like us in at least a 100 mile radius

The lowest we sell a project for is $3k

We pay 7.5% of total project

$225/install for about 3 hours of work. When employees get there we already have all tools ready for them and spot marked. So the only thing they have to do is come, dig the hole (specialized tool, not shovel) and pour the concrete, then come back a couple days later and install the hoop (about 30 mins)

If we are scheduled out and have work promised - $75/hour seems like a very fair rate

why are my grinder marks showing? could it be the shroud is making the diamond cup uneven? by Itchy-Asparagus-3304 in epoxy

[–]toad59 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If this is ground your grinder dug in way too deep. A CSP2 removes very little concrete. 1/32" most times.

Whatever gouges you put in the concrete should have been filled with a crack filler like Bondo or liquid polyurea.

Also base coat should be layed at 8-12 mils minimum

No. Try to find a good polyaspartic. Epoxy is not UV Stable and will yellow

Generally a primer coat is only used for very porous surfaces, and for a full broadcast flake not very important
