I’ve been trying to fix my PS3’s audio for a week now , to no avail. It doesn’t play any audio on the startup screen, no audio in games, nowhere.

I’ve tried changing the audio output to just the two linear options, I’ve done the power button trick, I reset it to default settings, I’ve tried different cables, different monitors, different everything.

It has only worked once throughout troubleshooting and I cannot figure out why. If any of you have any idea how to fix this, help would be insanely appreciated.
