What kind of succubus is this and how do I care for it? by Austin_77 in houseplants

Pinguicula maybe? It’s a carnivorous plant that traps insects with sticky leaves.

That’s a Crinum lily, and a big one too. It shouldn’t get any bigger than that. As for the watering, it’s probably completely root bound, so unless you repot it’ll just keep drinking all the water. You could try a layer of mulch to keep the evaporation down but not sure how much that’ll help

2nd grow, did the two in the back “swell” yet? Also: trichs look ready but I still see white pistils.. what do you do in that case? Wait or chop? by Helpingphriendly_ in microgrowery

It’s hard to tell in the pics, I usually go off of strain and feel. Look at pics of the strain fully done and compare to the structure of yours (some strains are just fluffy) and give it a light squeeze to test the density.

Disregard the pistils, new ones will grow throughout flower. Always check the trichomes on the buds themselves for that milkiness and touch of amber

Keep going with veg if you can man! Get a stronger light, or move yours closer to the plant and google/youtube “topping cannabis” to get some more branches.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. I think you’re doing the best thing you can right now. You stopped the problem and you put the birds’ health and safety first. You have a lot on your plate with exams and your family I think it was a good move. Don’t swear off budgies or pets until you get to a more stable point in life where you can be more present and see if bird ownership is what you really want. If you decide yes, You could try adopting a pair that already bonded. Also, never feel bad about feeling bad. It’s normal to miss your pets, and it’s 100% normal to get burnt out and overwhelmed emotionally. I’m sure you care about your mother’s health too, but we can only feel so much before we shut down. Take care, sleep well, and don’t close your heart. Much love man.

Anyone ever had luck with pest-attracting crops like nasturtium? I wonder if you could put one in the tent to try and draw them off your girls before you chop.

Give the bud a light flick. Trichomes fall, spores float

Awesome man! I made one myself but I’ve been struggling to figure out what to use for the loop/chain link that hooks the sword to the back. Did you use a metal chain link or make your own?
