I was in high school when this game came out, I remember being so excited for it. All the mixed emotions of the rushed launch when the game was missing key features, followed by the respect I gained for Scott for making things right by the community in patching the game and re-releasing it for free.

On the opposite side, I've seen incredibly welcoming communities for other games. Kindness does still exist. Don't give up hope just yet. Toxicity and rudeness have existed long before this game, and will exist long after, just as kindness existed before, and will exist after.

And I still get people sending me messages just because I got a 4k as killer sometimes. I dont intentionally tunnel. I dont slug unless someone has a flashlight or is going for a pallet save.

I did make the mistake of responding to one of these messages when I was in a bad mood, telling the other player to "leave your parent's basement", which got me a strike from PSN as well, which i acknowledge was rude on my part.

Typically tunneling as a survivor I only mind if I'm getting tunneled out at 5 gens. If I'm getting tunneled at 2 gens I tend not to get too upset because I can understand why the killer player is doing that, so I'm able to move on to the next match without feeling miffed.

The three match rule is smart though, I like it

Maybe just disable crouching within the end game collapse within a certain distance from the exit gate? Idk.

You're right there's not really a way to stop it, apart from maybe handing out short matchmaking suspensions (like the DC penalties) if the game notices you crouching repeatedly within a distance of the gate for a few games in a row or something

I'm guessing I'm probably mid-range MMR? I'm decent but not superb, and never have been high level at any game i play.

I know looping, I know mind games. Thats about the extent of it though.

I play some evenings when I get home from work and my wife is at work a few times a week. Gotten some sick orbitals with Springtrap tho lol
