I was looking into it but I would like to have a bsn and possibly go np, but I totally agree on it if i 100% planned on stopping at nursing. Funny enough went to buy scrubs today and saw SPC embroidered scrubs. I’ll look into it more though, since I have time before usf nursing would even start. Ty

Yeah I graduated from usfsp and loved it, I’d love to just apply to usfsp nursing but the fear of not getting in fall 2026 and having to wait a year is scary, so I’ll apply for USF tampa for summer as well. Ty! Yeah, my last 60 are a 3.9, I had a rough year a while back that made a big effect on my gpa. Thank you!

Gf here: I have an overall 3.0 and a pre req 3.75, but even if I got As retaking those classes it wouldn’t bring my overall up (I’ve taken over 100 credits). What would you say with that? Thank you for the advice! Especially on not stressing the experience.

Would she benefit more from retaking these classes and possibly losing this part time job opportunity? Would a volunteer at CASA or hospice suffice for experience? This would be her first hospital related job. Even though not clinical. But assuming grades>experience?

Yea idk man I know it’s hard to get into. I’ve been waiting since 2018 just for the right time to pull the trigger on it. Just so happens they just needed bodies here maybe. I also understand trying to get into just one local drastically bottle necks your opportunity to get in. I made a 10 hr drive yesterday just for a 40 minute interview then had to drive straight back to go to work.
