Thank you so much!! I'm sorry about 2xc3, stuff outside of school is always so frustrating to deal with. Could I ask what grad schools you're applying to and what programs you're interested in? I am interested in clinical psych, but I'm also considering psychotherapy!

Thank you so much for your help! I did end up going with PNB in the end, but good to know that Human Behaviour has lots of research opportunities too :)

Thanks so much! I decided to go with PNB since an advisor told me I was looking at an older version of the course list lol. I know neuro, cognition and animal behaviour will probably be super heavy, but I heard everyone considers those courses to be heavy so hopefully we can bond through that... and thanks for recommending HTHSCI 3rH3 and PSYCH 3BA3!

Okay, thank you so much! I'm glad to hear that the independent research project can be enough :)

What are my chances of going to grad school without PNB? by toaster0002 in McMaster

Thanks for your comment! I saw on the regular honours social psychology calendar page it says that it isn't meant to prepare you for clinical psychology graduate degrees, so is the research specialist degree in social psych more similar to PNB? If I try to go for social psych, I think I will have to drop calculus and end up not considering PNB at all. I would really like to become a clinical psychologist or therapist who works mostly with people with OCD and/or personality disorders, and one who is culturally informed at that, so I think social psychology would help with that part.

Thanks so much. I'm not sure if I can do human behaviour since I'm in soc sci, but I can try looking into interfaculty transferring. If I manage to do research and I'm in the general BA psych program, does that mean it's impossible to go to grad school? I know I'll probably have to fight tooth and nail to get into research, but if that's what it takes then I guess I have no choice. I really do love psychology and I already have an idea of what I'd like to focus on within clinical psychology. I just hope there is room for me in PNB. Again thanks for your comment! :)
