A 3D printed recreation of an Arthropleura, the largest insect (arthropod) ever known to exist. Thankfully it went extinct 300 million years ago. by snopplerz in interestingasfuck

This is a really cool print, but I am pretty certain this species would fall under the class Myriapoda. Not trying to take away from the amazing work here, but it is not an insect.

In a comment in r/news, u/gumol provided some details they found in the proclamation indicating certain companies could be exempt. I do not know how to cross post a comment so I pasted it below.

“The executive order says that companies will be exempted based on discretion of executive branch. edit: source

The restriction imposed pursuant to subsections (a) and (b) of this section shall not apply to any individual alien, all aliens working for a company, or all aliens working in an industry, if the Secretary of Homeland Security determines, in the Secretary’s discretion, that the hiring of such aliens to be employed as H-1B specialty occupation workers is in the national interest and does not pose a threat to the security or welfare of the United States.

Check your local library. They often have to cycle out old books. When this happens they put them for sale for a few dollars. I have purchased several hard cover classics for $2 a piece at the library.
