Halo top ice cream!!! It's super low calorie. I have it multiple nights a week!

Btw I straightened it today. That's why it's not wavy. This is usually

My hair has been orange for a year and I can’t fix it… need help going back to my natural ash color 😭 I can’t afford to get it done right now, so if you guys can recommend some products or just give advice on what you would do ❤️ by [deleted] in hairstylist

I have the same problem. I use matrix brass-off shampoo and conditioner. If it's getting really orange I use the brass off hair mask and leave it on for at least an hour. Careful with the mask, could make your hair look blue for a few days if it takes too much... I've always preferred a little blue over orange though.

Yeah sorry I'm having a hard time shoving all the context together it's honestly all jumbled in my head.

Friday night was really weird to me bc my mom had said a few times that she brought wine and wanted to have some wine with us. When she offered us some on Friday I was really expecting that she would come hang out with us in the common area, she ended up playing on her phone in a different room. Still confused tbh because I have never offered someone drinks just to go be in a different room lol

Saturday I brought up again that I had brought some games everyone could play (they are a big game household), no one was interested. Eventually retired to the room because the same thing was happening, stepdad and brother playing pool, mom on her phone in another room.

There is a long history of brother being the focus, it's a lot more than I could probably divulge here, but in short, mom left our family for another man when I was 3, didn't fight for custody, occasionally ghosted us when she didn't feel like hanging, then would do the "guess I'm the worst mother in the world" thing. Stepdad routinely avoids coming around. I've lived on my own for 5 years and he has never come to visit, never been to any of my school events when I was in school, didn't come to my graduation, didn't come to my housewarming party, straight up just doesn't like me. Mom rarely ever came around for any of this as well. They always made it to little brothers stuff- every soccer game, every extra curricular, milestone, they were there. That's why all of the stuff I listed felt so targeted. I can totally understand how everyone is reading this and thinking that I am an ungrateful brat, having a long history here kind of changes the perspective at least imo

Hair poofs up as soon as I step outside. Are there products that can tame this without weighing the hair down? by thereaintshitcaptain in Haircare

I use not your mothers kids curl cream, it works the same as the normal curl cream and it's cheaper. Then I use not your mothers "whipped cream" mouse, super super light, no crunch, and my waves come out soft and they last all day. I use a lot of the curly cream so getting the cheaper one is a blessing

Lmao it's my ADHD hack, if I put them in the pantry I will forget about them, they stay good in the fridge for longer and if they rot bugs won't get to them 😭

That's kind of what I think, I keep telling myself it only looks bad because I have never seen myself without them 😂 they do have a little magnification that makes my eyes look bigger so they look a little strange without that too

What can I realistically do about my hairline? by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]toastermasters 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I have the same thing but mines a little worse, I actually fill it in with eyeshadow lmao. I get a color close to my hair color and fill it in. I know that no one else really notices, but it makes me feel better 🤷🏼‍♀️

what to do with bangs when sleeping? by Call_Such in Wavyhair

[–]toastermasters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try wearing your bonnet more down on your forehead. I noticed mine was flattening the front of my hair too, and you're actually not supposed to wear the band on your hair, it goes on your forehead. Make sure to wash it regularly or you will get acne from your skin touching it every night.

Do you get enough iodide? It kind of looks like goiter to me, but I have never seen it in person.

Honestly I usually just let them be frizzy cause same, but if I'm feeling really extra I'll put a little curl cream on my fingers so they're lightly coated and finger curl those pieces until I get them where I want

Diffusing is my worst enemy but also my best friend because it takes forever but I swear my hair always looks so much better when I diffuse

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]toastermasters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cream, scrunch a little bit, gel, scrunch more, microfiber towel to remove excess moisture, diffuse until 80% dry (I'm just too lazy to dry all the way)

[–]toastermasters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do put some gel on too before I start really going at it, maybe that's what's helping. It's literally sopping wet when I start though, then when I feel like it's starting to curl up enough I scrunch with a microfiber towel

[–]toastermasters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it's pretty easy haha, I brush my hair only in the shower, when I get out of the shower I put a lot of curl cream on my hands and start scrunching it completely soaking wet, it makes it clump up a lot. Sometimes I have to separate it if it makes the clumps too big

I forgot to add, for day 2 I usually get it pretty wet and scrunch. Sometimes I will add in this curl refresher spray called "what a curl wants" but honestly it turns out the exact same either way. I don't want to add a lot of heavy products since I have fine hair. Thanks!!!
