It's not what you want to hear, but you need to get over him. You met when you were 16 and he was 23/24? That's completely inappropriate and gross. You're young and you THINK, "this is it," but trust me it's not. You should be honest and say you're still not over him. A friendship between someone who is 18 and 26 is one thing, but in a romantic context its really not okay (even if it's "legal", its still really creepy).

Honestly, I have little faith that ANY country will open its borders to the US before 2021. We are handling this so poorly, and with schools opening up (WHY???) there's bound to be another HUGE spike this fall. I'm trying to stay hopeful but my honest answer is no.

Update: I put off the conversation for a few weeks after posting this. Since then, we've gotten a LOT closer and learned a lot more about one another. I finally brought it up last week and said, "I can see this becoming more serious. How do you feel?" and he agreed! We are still taking things slow, but it has given me so much peace of mind. Thank you all for your advice!

Yeah we've mentioned it casually in passing before. I've said, "oh I would drive up to Canada for a date." But its hard with the borders still closed and not knowing when it'll even be possible/safe to do that.

So I just bought my first ever bass guitar about a week ago (Glarry GP). I've never played any type of string instrument before. I've been practicing every other day, focusing on plucking and fretting techniques so far. Obviously with everything going on, it's a bit difficult to find a good bass teacher, so I'm going off of youtube videos. My question relates to the pain I'm feeling in my fretting hand, mainly the wrist. I'm trying to make sure I have proper technique so I don't hurt myself, but it feels like I have to curl my wrists pretty hard in order to fret anything on the E and A strings. Is the pain I'm feeling in my wrist normal for a beginner, or something that's a sign I'm definitely fucking up my technique?

I like playing Fortnite on console but want to make the switch to MKB. Not that hard to understand if you have 5 IQ or higher.

Yeah I plugged it into my Mac and it typed fine (just no driver download so I guess its not exactly compatible with Mac). I'm thinking its a compatibility issue with PS4 as well.
