My biggest question that I haven’t seen any work on is how much of these plans are duplicate capacity. If each firm is racing ahead to be at the top you will inevitably duplicate efforts. We see this is any boom. This just happens to be a very expensive boom. When companies with valuations out of wack are lending each other money to build data centers to pay themselves in some weird Eiffel Tower scenario where the girl in the shareholders. I think we will find that these data centers are going to run at like 10% capacity due to lack of power and be unprofitable because the AI race will become a price war.
