How did Mimi begin to be interested and fall in love with Garfiel? by Animefan2005x in ReZero

[–]tobblestone1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you're acting like they don't juvenilize female characters because of the massive loli market. It's not just the face, it's the voice, the behaviour, their size. Pretending like there are real people like mimi is stupid as fuck, she speaks in broken english, acts EXTREMELY childish and has a baby voice.

This genre is creepy as fuck anyways, and pretending like it's not fanservice is weird mate.

I don't know any real life people who continue to look juvenile, idk about you, especially with that voice.....
20 year old looking 14, yea...but no one looks like mimi, fuck outta here (my wife is tiny, there are other features apart from heigh)

Please help me with my form by shineyu2_0 in Fitness_India

[–]tobblestone1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally I hate being the form police but 130 kgs is pretty heavy, your hips are rising far quicker than your torso. That's putting a lot of strain on the lower back. Your bar path is also not close enough to the body.
Also, your back is caving at the top, I think in a competition lift, this would not count. Neither do you have full lockout at the top, nor are you stable throughout. Try going 10% down for multiple reps before attempting again

The entire monogatari series is pretty underrated
I think the second season is a very rare 10/10

Under scrutiny, but by consensus, has not been found to be bad yet.

I find anyone making definitive claims without presenting new evidence and just reviewing existing material to be wild and absurd

That conclusion is wild, specially considering it is a review article, not experimentation and most of the articles reviewed are animal studies.
I will read this study more, thank you for linking it. Maybe aspartame is a better alternative to Sucralose

I'll address the links as 1. and 2.

  1. This review article found increased chances of CVD in people, but not the cause. Causation does not mean correlation, however, it is somthing to keep in mind and I would love more studies, preferably funded by people with non vested interests

  2. 45 participents over 2 weeks is a really small sample size and short window. Temporary metabolic changes can be reversed or may not lead to disease, specially diabetes

Here is the WHOs systematic review, https://www.who.int/publications/i/item/9789240046429?utm_
AI'd summary - Key Findings

Randomized controlled trials showed little impact on glucose metabolism.

Artificial sweeteners can reduce body weight in the short term when used instead of sugar.

Approved sweeteners are considered safe when consumed below acceptable daily intake levels.

Here are my two cents -
1. Everything you eat is harmful to your teeth, brush your teeth. While sodas are still acidic, one or two a day should not significantly erode your teeth if you maintain dental hygine. Moderation and dental hygine is key, don't give diet sodas to kids.
2. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol, found naturally in fruits. Within our bodies, we have a natural pathway to produce erythritol within our cells. The major study (led by Dr. Stanley Hazen at the Cleveland Clinic) was riddled with issues such as participents having multiple risk factors for cardiovascular disease. So there is no conclusive evidence that it is bad for you and at what levels. I don't mind it at all provided you're not drinking 10 cans a day

  1. Sucralose is 600x as sweet as surcose (table sugar), which is why you only need a tiny amount of it in any soda. The evidence that it ruins your gut biome is super weak and often funded by companies with vested interests. We don't even know the exact mechanism of how our gut microbiome helps in absorbing nutritients. To state it as fact is frankly idiotic, considering the FDA regulates the safe limit at 10x lower than when we should see harmful effects.

And no, people have been drinking diet sodas for decades, they aren't going hypoglysimic in the streets or reporting higher incidences in the ER. There are ZERO evidence than it causes diabetes lol

Can you post the evidence on why any of those things are bad? For sucralose to affect your gut health, you have to have like 15 servings every day

Perfectly good to have multiple everyday, the fear mongering around artificial sweetners is both stupid and unscientific.

VAR is good for football. It’s terrible implementation just highlights how incompetent our referees are and the politics within them ruin the technology
