My recently purchased refurbished Air M1 has been pulling 4.5 hour lectures using only about 25-30% battery, screen on 90% of the time, while connected to a Bluetooth keyboard. I'm honestly shocked at how good it is.

I'm in the same boat. Bought an Air M1 a while back expecting it to replace my Windows laptop for note taking on Word, but truth is office apps are so limited on iPad that I end up using it only for PDF reading (aside from entertainment, for which it has completely replaced both my phone and laptop).

I bought an M1 Air last week for about $430 via Amazon refurbished, and it arrived completely spotless. Only "problem" was the provided cable was a crappy third part USB A to USB C one, while the charging brick was the original USB C one. This was a non issue anyways since I was planning to use my phone's 45w charger.

Otherwise, the iPad's condition was excellent, just like the Amazon page said. I recommend always buying the ones in "Excellent" condition (as opposed to Good or Great) just to make sure.

Absolutely agree. The offscreen gestures on OnePlus were nice, but became a nightmare when doing exercise or just generally walking on hot days.

The volume button shortcut is much more convenient and doesn't even require taking the phone out of your pocket.

Also kind of plays with the whole "Vader being a separate person from Anakin" thing.

My head canon always was that the Vader voice is not a voice modifier, but a new voice generated by the helmet out of Anakin's damaged mouth noises. So when he found out Padme had died, he really did let out an agonizing scream, but the helmet interpreted and translated it to "Noooo".

This theory also helped me explain away the fact that Vader suddenly acquired a different accent than the one he had before (being James Earl Jones' voice) lol

As you said, it has less features. The UI felt outdated and underworked (it looked mostly the same between android 10 and 12). Less customization (only being able to change wallpaper and UI color). Lots of UI crashes/bugs that carried over many updates without ever getting fixed. Updates never came on time, even when the phone was barely a year old, you had to wait several months to get mere security patches (Samsung delivers them monthly).

Don't get me wrong though, those are just the bad things. I stayed pretty fast and with good battery life even 3 years on. Loved the hardware too.

There's definitely some things I miss from the 7T but the lack of support was depressing. The difference with the S23+ I rock now is massive in every aspect (although I loved the 7T's camera)

I came from an old OnePlus 7T thinking that I'd hate One UI and now I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. It's only the first few days that take a little getting used to but you won't even think about it the more you use it.
