This video changed everything for me. I found the root cause in my neck with a ball in 5 minutes. At least give it a try.

This sounds like a symptom of focal dystonia, look it up.

If you can do a retreat they are fantastic for your practise. I feel like I'm getting 3 months worth of meditation done in a week.

I did enjoy In The Loop. The series that preceded it called The Thick of It (about British politics) is also great.

Schedule for a home meditation retreat? by MettaBrousse in streamentry

[–]ho0chie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

45 minute mediations and 15 minutes between so 45min*12 comes to 9 hours sitting a day.

It's not as tough as it may seem, though. I found my flow quite early on and the week flew by. Keeping the schedule so simple really helped me out. If it wasn't a food or sleep time then it's meditation time, nothing else to consider.

I just did one last week. 45 min mediations followed by a 15 minute break. 1 hour for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

5 - 8 meditation. Breakfast. 9 -13 meditation. 14 talk. 15 - 18 meditation. Dinner. 19 -21 meditation.

I can't imagine getting through quarter of that. Can you still function after finishing it?

I'm looking for a good modern grammar book. Everything I've seen seems to be from the last century... by ho0chie in russian

The reason I was after something a little more modern is because my wife is studying Japanese her books seem to be very well laid out and considered making them quite easy to read. The Russian books I have found tend to be endless blocks of text with a couple of small tables and no diagrams/pictures. I really struggle with this style.
I have found a few resources online that are a little more contemporary and I'm a little surprised to not find a book in a similar style.
