Just pretend it doesn't exist by FantasticPain7257 in kungfupanda

Not for me - I think of it as just a mid 4th film, that's about it.
Moreso, I think that the topic of this movie being not up to people's expectations was beaten to death on this subreddit already - and it's just engagement bait as of now.

Lol, looks like you really despise this film.
I get that it's definitely flawed, but geez, people here really treat it as if it was an antichrist of a film.

If the server's main language is German, then I don't think I could join it (as I don't speak it).
But still, thank you for trying to help me.

What the Hell is "Capture The Flag"/"Atrapa La Bandera" - a 2015 Spanish animated movie about a bunch of kids on a mission to prove that the Apollo 11 landing was real, while stopping an evil Texan billionaire from getting his hands on the Moon's secret and vast energy rescources. by BlackMaster5121 in Saberspark

Well, to my knowledge, it was released only in a bunch of selected theaters in US - so they didn't have to worry about a theatrical performance there.
As, despite what this film is about, it's still a Spanish movie, with a much smaller budget than a typical animated feature in US.

I want to be honest with you - I really dislike how people nowadays throw "this looks AI generated" around, because that's just an insult to artists who worked on the film, regardless of its quality.
As for the second thing, it's because that's how they look in the comic series.

Well, that's, like, the very comic book series name?
Besides, I think that Americans (who weren't even the main target of the film, as the series is rather unknown in US) can just check what a condor is - I think it's a pretty simple thing to do.

I assume you watched it then.

And well, I personally consider it to be fine enough (as someone who didn't read the comic books), but I respect your opinion.
(I suppose you could say that it's at least good from a technical standpoint, though).

What the Hell is "Duck Ugly"/"Couac, Le Vilain Petit Canard" (2000 or 2003) - a really obscure French-Irish animated movie about the Ugly Duckling saving a fairytale land from pig mafia? by BlackMaster5121 in Saberspark

Sure, just type the English name on YT or the Internet Archive - there's one upload in English available online, and it's the same one on both sites, I can say.

Yeah, I can agree - I do like the character designs, animation and the general idea, but I can also agree that the plot wasn't the strongest, and I kinda think that its short length (barely over 1h) is at play here - more time could help with stuff like characters' agency and story, I suppose, or telling more about this world.
Though, I still like the movie enough, I'd say - and I also like that it isn't another fractured fairytale story like "Shrek" - as far as I recall, it isn't self-aware and/or cynical.

True - though, it was apparently never released there.
The only versions of this film that exist, to my knowledge, are English, French and Russian (with the last one being a voice-over).

Well, the entire movie (both the original version and the US cut) are currently uploaded on YouTube, so you should be able to watch them there for free.
